Player award for Soccer was given to S.Vikram from team Capri and to
Suharna d/o Benogopan from team SP ICS 1 for Captain’s Ball.
Prem Kumar Memorial Match was also conducted in a grand
manner. This match is played between the current batch of NUS students and the NUS Alumni. It has been organised yearly for the past
9 years to commemorate the passing on of Prem Kumar while he was
the Vice President of NUS TLS. For the second year running, this
challenge has been won by NUS students.
This year, unlike past years, NUS TLS also organised the
Spectra Carnival alongside Sports Spectra. Spectra Carnival is a new
initiative by NUS TLS. Through the involvement in the Community
Engagement Programme, NUS TLS was able to have NUS Muslim Society and NUS Malay Society on board this project and set-up a flea
market around the area where Sports Spectra was happening. Through
this initiative, NUS TLS was also able to engage members of the nonIndian community which made it all the more a successful event.
