English Day at "Ben- Gurion" School, was about "Recycling". It was planned
by Limor Gidony and Tammy Ben Yair, the terrific English teachers of the
school.
During that day, there were many activities, such as: making crowns from
recycled material, a game between two teams where they were asked
different questions about recycling, making puppets from toilet paper
rolls, making butterflies from plastic bottles and a big word search where
they needed to find different words.
The creative pupils from the fifth grade made posters that were colorful
and meaningful. They put the posters at the entrance of the school
where everyone can see them.
The pupils enjoyed watching a show about "The Big Old Tree". The pupils
listened to a song "Keeping the World Clean". Both, were played by the
pupils from the fourth grade. The talented pupils have shown a great
performance in front of their friends and their teachers.
The pupils liked learning new words in English and to have different
activities on that special day. We hope that our pupils will keep the
environment greener and cleaner. We all wish to live in a better place for
us, our children and grandchildren to come.
