Now We Are Students Officially!

The Blagoveshchensk State
Pedagogical University traditionally holds an
important event for freshmen “The Dedication
to students”. This year it has coincided with
the Day of the Lyceum and become the
symbol of knowledge and new horizons that
get open in front of the young and smart
generation.
We were given the "first" responsible
task - the preparation of the concert act
from the group for the gala concert at the
beginning of September.
I entered the faculty of foreign
languages, English/French department, so we
collectively decided to present elegant and
sophisticated French girls on the stage (as
there are no boys in our group).
Undoubtedly, one of the objectives of
this event is the union of a new group. At first,
it was somewhat difficult to decide what to do
because we hardly got acquainted with each
other. But despite it we managed to find a
secret code of our talents and we were able to
present them.
The long-awaited dedication took
place on the 19 th of October. The third-year
students of our faculty led the event. The style
of the concert program was associated with
the American comedy science-fiction
animation series "Rick and Morty." Moreover,
the third-year students presented a lot of
funny scenes related to the exciting life of a
student of the faculty of foreign languages.
All the concert acts of the other
groups of our faculty were special: some
performed in a rock style, others with Russian
ditties, the rest presented scenes from a
freshman`s life but we decided to introduce
an element of surprise.
Indeed, on the day of the dedication,
our group made a spontaneous decision - to
dance a trendy youth dance. The idea had
come 10 minutes before the concert, and
everyone saw the result at the end of our
performance. WOW! The reaction of the hall
was enchanting. Everyone was delighted!
We received a huge burst of positive
emotions from our performance and we were
pleased with the result. So, I invite all the
freshmen to take an active part in the cultural
and sport life of the university because
student's years are the most exciting,
interesting and unforgettable ones!
I am happy to be a part of this faculty! I
have always been interested in different
cultures, languages and nations. I loved to
collect small figures of representatives of
different ethnic groups. And, of course,
choosing my career, I wanted to combine my
two passions - children and languages.

As for studying at the faculty of
foreign languages, in two months I realized
that I wouldn`t be bored. There are many
events and celebrations, as well as a huge
number of opportunities for self-
development.
