We all have a favourite cream on the shelf and favourite pro-
cedures for skin care. Though the source of the beautiful skin,
like health, is within us. Dead skin cells are constantly replaced

radicals is eating more of the strongly
coloured food (berries, tomatoes, apri-
cots, beetroot, squash, spinach, sweet
potatoes, mandarins, peppers, beans)

longer. selenium is a mineral that protects
the skin from free radicals. They are
the culprits of the emergence of all
age-related skin changes - wrinkles,
creases, and dryness. selenium can be
obtained from Brazilian nuts, mush-
rooms, shrimp, lamb, fi sh, cod and
tuna. Cooked beef, light turkey, oysters;
sardines, whole-wheat, crabs and pasta
are also rich in selenium.

Omega-3 and Omega-6 are amino ac-
ids that help maintain the natural bar-
rier of the skin, protecting it from dry-
ness and age pigmentation, making
it smooth and young. These acids can
only be obtained from food. For the vis-
ible effect, you need to eat 2-3 portions
of amino acids per day. Add an olive
oil to the salad, fl axseeds and walnuts.
