Meet the
DOCTOR
As you have already read at the beginning of this magazine, our clinic is
expanding, and our areas of expertise are widening hand in hand with it
also our team is growing. We would like to introduce our new addition to
plastic surgeons team, MUDr. Aneta Krajcová.
WHY DID YOU CHOOSE
THIS FIELD OF MEDICINE?
I always wanted to pursue plastic
surgery and reconstruction sur-
gery from the very beginning of my
medical studies. In this ield, I like
the combination of various features,
such as manual skill, sense of imagi-
nation and aesthetic feeling. From
the beginning, I also knew very well
that if I wanted to become a good
plastic surgeon, it is a hard way
to go. That is also the reason why I
have been aiming purposefully step
by step since my irst year towards
my dream and aim to be a plastic
and reconstructive surgeon. I started
studying medicine in 2000 and in
the same year I started working at
the anatomical institute as a scien-
tiic assistant.
mUDR. ANETA KRAJCOvá
Aneta Krajcová is a doctor specialising in plastic surgery, a
university teacher, a competent manager, an independent
politician and a great sportswoman- in body and spirit.
She is one of the most signiicant plastic surgeons in the
Czech Republic, she has worked at several international
plastic surgery clinics, e.g. in Germany, Austria and Italy. At
the same time, she is the senior doctor of the Laser and
dermatoplastic-aesthetic surgery in Prague. She is the only
training doctor in the Czech Republic for the latest antiag-
ing procedure - Redermalization - representing the Swiss
Institute of Hyalual. She has participated as an active lec-
turer in a number of Czech and international conferences
in the ield of plastic, aesthetic and general surgery.

HOW DO YOU FEEL IN THIS
INDUSTRY SURROUNDED
BY MEN?
I hate envy and intrigues in general.
Unfortunately, these qualities are
typical of our nation, and especially
amongst women. Of course, I do not
want to say that men do not envy
and do not talk behind your back,
but women can use very insidious
tactics. Certainly, I do not mean all of
them, I work with some very skilful
colleagues and we work together as
a great team. Cooperation with men
is different and that’s how it should
be. I feel great about them.
