You need to artificially create curves from the waist down and up to look more womanly. A good idea for you would be frills and pleats in order to add volume and texture to your look. “A” style skirts in under-knee length or bright coloured miniskirts can add to your good looking legs; the same as “A” or Empire style dresses will work for you nicely. What should you wear? It is beneficial for you to highlight the upper part of your body and suppress the lower one, colours work well in this – dark ones down and bright ones up. Shoulder patches will work for you as they optically widen your shoulders in order to balance their width with the width of your hips. Any distractions are welcome – brooch, necklace, scarf around your shoulders or a pushup bra. Empire style dresses and round skirts can work for you greatly; the same as proper “A” style skirts with a highlighted waist. What shouldn’t you wear? Straight skirts and skinny jeans should be a no-no for you as they show your voluptuous legs. Also choose nothing that makes your breasts look smaller. How does it look like? Typical male athletic figure with rather smaller buttocks and thin legs, usually with wide breast area, possibly one size bigger than the lower part of the body. What should you wear? Dark colours up and bright colours down – that is a good idea for you. V-neck longer monochromatic tops, ideally tied up around the neck are great. Asymmetrical décolleté and well-cut elegant shirts will work for you very well, too. Long pants or skirts with patterns, “A” style skirts and even straight baggy dresses are fine. Choose dresses with details on the lower part and extravagant shoes and you’ll look amazing. What shouldn’t you wear? No striking décolleté, frills or ruffled sleeves and absolutely no string tops. Stay away from shoulder patches as well. #4 spring/summer 2016 19
