I did!
In fact, I spent 2 magical nights in Port Angeles, Washington at the Red Lion Inn which has a terrific view of the Strait of Juan De Fuca.
I would also like to mention that the hotel is right next to the water and has both a hiking and biking trail that runs in front of it.
Can you say scenic and serene.
Speaking of serene, I’m not sure if it was the calming sounds, the views, or the smell of the salt in the air (from the Strait) but I can’t recall enjoying such a good nights sleep, and this was on the very first night of my visit!
