experiments Do birds prefer chia seeds or corn seeds? By Natalia Obando, Sara Moreno, Manuela Recio, Sebastián Vásquez Introduction We are doing a bird feeder experiment. We found interesting about birds that that they are beautiful because of the genetics of the species, they have adapted to many different changes and there is a big variety of them. We want to do this experiment because we want to find out information about birds, which kind of food do they prefer, corn seeds or chía seeds. Also we want to know more about this very interesting creature. We think this project is important because it is a base of information for you, not only in school and university, but also for life. It is also important because we can learn more about bird and nature and nature helps us express. We know about birds that they have existed since dinosaurs, they have adapted to the different ecosystems and have evolved, therefore, they have different diets, also that the skeleton, the heart, the circulatory system, their beaks, 12 / Zasqua Jounal 2017 their feathers, their muscular system and their wings. We want to work with this variable because it is a very important part of the birds’ life. Finally, we want to find out what effect the variable of food can make, if that impact is bigger and more remarkable than maybe changing the place and having the variety of places. And also, if they have different preferences in their diet and which one did they ate more. Data Table Data Analysis Question: If birds prefer chía seeds or corn seeds and if the final results are close and similar or very different from each other? Hypothesis: If the food is or chía seeds or corn seeds, then the birds will prefer to eat chía seeds because they are smaller and more birds can eat them.
