STRATEGIC GOAL THREE
By 2019 the YWCA retains the necessary resources and
organisational capacity to ensure it can continue to
deliver to its purpose and achieve best practice in
service delivery
During the 2016-17 Financial Year, YWCA
Adelaide has successfully reviewed all of its
operational systems and updated its policy
and procedures accordingly. In May 2017 an
external quality audit was undertaken and the
organisation has successfully obtained
accreditation at certificate level under the
Australian Service Excellence standards.
Additionally, the new customer relationship
management system has become further
embedded in the organisation, creating
greater controls on management of data and
further building consistency in practices.
Additionally, we have undertaken some
review of our IT operational systems and in
collaboration with a consultant, made some
changes to strengthen platform stability and
access for staff.

YWCA Adelaide have also formed a building
committee which has worked to review
possible options to meet existing and future
facility needs.
We look forward to continuously improve all
of our operational systems now fully in place
through ongoing audits and reviews. These
are valuable milestones to have achieved as
we continue our involvement with the national
merger
negotiations,
with
ongoing
participation with the merger group at
operational, governance and working party
group levels.
We are anticipating that this work will be
concluded in 2017 leading up to a vote by
membership on the proposed national merger
to include YWCA Adelaide.
