EVERY GIRL
In early 2017 YWCA Adelaide formed an exciting
new partnership with Anglicare SA to deliver our
Every Girl program to girls in local schools through
Communities for Children in the Onkaparinga and
Playford regions.
To kick start this new partnership YWCA Adelaide
delivered the Every Girl program with 46 girls at
Morphett Vale Primary School and Seaford K-7
School in term 2 2017. The Every Girl program
provides leadership development opportunities and
civic engagement for girls in year 6 and 7 through
eight weekly sessions.
We have welcomed a number of new program
facilitators into our team to accommodate the their leadership potential. We look forward to
increasing demand for the program and we are continuing to develop this partnership with
looking forward to supporting more girls to develop Anglicare SA and expand program delivery in 2017
