SHE LEADS BOARDS
YWCA Adelaide is committed to providing opportunities that work
towards increasing the number of women on boards.
In the 2016 / 2017 year, YWCA Adelaide delivered four Board Training sessions for women to
increase their opportunities for board success. Delivered by governance expert Nicole Swaine,
the training aims to increase the governance skills and confidence of women considering applying
for board roles. Topics covered include governance models, roles and responsibilities, financial
obligations, policy development and strategic planning.
As we move forward with our SHE Leads suite of programs and services, YWCA Adelaide is
currently reviewing its SHE Leads Board and Board Masterclass training programs and aim to
deliver new and exciting board training programs in 2018.
