CHIEF EXECUTIVE REPORT LIZ FORSYTH As a leader on issues of Women’s Leadership, YWCA Adelaide has been part of the momentum that has been gained nationally amongst other YWCA membership associations to adopt and further develop the women’s leadership pathway. Our local She Speaks Survey has for the first time become a national YWCA survey undertaken in every State and Territory and with other research will increasingly articulate what women’s leadership means and can contribute to the economy and the community. Building Membership Engagement Important to me in joining YWCA Adelaide has been attention to the fact we are a membership organisation. Membership is an expression of support for the work we do, providing both a resource and a reason for our advocacy work. Membership should and does drive our agenda, and engagement with our members enables us to understand what is important to the women who join our organisation, as well as what they want from their membership.
