“On a personal note, obviously the highlight for me was
attending the CSW – the amazing experience and the
opportunity for building national and global networks, and being
able to expand our advocacy work. So the fact that we send
one member to the United Nations in New York is pretty
significant!
On a more general note, but still personal, was the starting up of
SHE Meets – and the success of the Speed Mentoring Event. The
fact that we have responded to what young women members
are asking for, and empowering them to organise their own
events, learn skills and build networks, is an achievement.”
