MONEY SAVVY
Money Savvy is a day long financial literacy workshop for year 9/10
students supported by HSBC. The program provides practical information
on topics such as budgeting, superannuation, credit cards and interest
free loan schemes.
This year:
1 full day workshop facilitated in South Australia and 2 workshops in
Western Australia
86 students participated in workshops supported by 8 volunteers from
HSBC
In 2013/2014 YWCA Adelaide delivered one workshop at Ocean View
College in South Australia and two workshops at Lockridge Senior High
School in Western Australia. The program is supported by volunteer
mentors from HSBC who provide valuable financial knowledge to
students on the day.
Thanks to our Money Savvy workshop facilitators Caralyn Lammas and
Paula Rowe and all of our HSBC volunteers for making financial literacy
fun for young people this year!
