YOUTH SERVICES
For the second year in a row YWCA’s Youth Services received an award at
the City of Tea Tree Gully’s Youth and School Industry Awards, taking out the
top agency prize for Leadership in Collaboration. YWCA also sponsored an
award, the YWCA Leadership Award, which went to Lia Lawrie for her
outstanding leadership in both her personal life and her community.
YWCA Youth Services introduced a new Senior Practitioner role in 2013/2014
to further develop the meaningful and outcome focussed interventions to
assist young people to reach their full potential. We welcomed Paula Rowe
into this position and she has brought with her a splash of colour and some
rock and roll! Thanks to the Youth Services team consisting of Paula, Fiona
Mulholland and Bryony Gibson for their amazing work this year.
YWCA’s Youth Services is funded by the Department for Communities and
Social Inclusion through the Family and Community Development program.
