RESPECT COMMUNICATE CHOOSE (RCC)
YWCA’s Respect Communicate Choose program is an 8 week respectful
relationships program for primary school students which aims to increase
gender equitable attitudes and positive bystander intervention.
Following on from the program’s pilot in 2012/2013 YWCA Adelaide
continued to work in conjunction with YWCA of Canberra to fine tune the
program to ensure maximum impact this year.
This year:
Programs were delivered in 5 primary schools
328 students participated in the program
YWCA Adelaide staff, Claire Tatyzo and Doug Werchon partnered with
YWCA of Canberra staff to develop and deliver an intensive version of the
