SHE LEADS PROGRAM
A further response to meeting the leadership development needs of young
women is YWCA Adelaide’s SHE Leads Program. The ten month personal
and professional development program is South Australia’s only leadership
program specifically tailored for young women. The inaugural SHE Leads
Program commenced in November 2012, supporting 23 young female
leaders.
The SHE Leads Program comprises of:
Classroom based learning and professional development focusing on
leadership skills for young women
An online environment to access and share resources, and contribute to
discussions
Mentoring from experienced and successful career women from a
range of industry, government and not-for-profit sectors
Practical tutorials with workplace application
Networking opportunities for participants of the program
End of program graduation
Attendance at the annual SHE Leads Conference as SHE Leads
Ambassadors.
