Servicing the Community
Underpinning the work of the YWCA is the commitment to community
program delivery and whilst we continue to experience much change in
the way funding is made available for this, the staff group has remained
focussed and committed to meeting the needs of our clients. More detail
on the achievements of these programs can be found elsewhere in this
report. Important for the future of these programs is our capacity to
measure their impact not just their activity and this year we have
commenced the journey to adopting results based accountability for
reporting on program activity. This agenda is in line with progressive
thinking and funder expectations, and will support increasing the capacity
to report consistently and clearly what we are achieving in the community.
Sustainability for the Future
As the financial reports show, YWCA Adelaide continues to enjoy a strong
financial base with an increase in members equity whilst continuing to
reinvest our resources in staffing, programs and membership. Changes in
State and Federal Governments have brought a wave of change in focus
