I would like to welcome you back to San Diego for the 2015 ICSC Western Conference & Deal Making. We're
in the midst of a resurgence that our industry hasn't seen since before the recession, so turn it up to 11 and
get rockin' for all the opportunities that are ahead of us. No matter what role you play in our ever-changing
industry, I think best practices demand continuously refreshed information, knowledge, judgment and most
importantly, strong relationships. That is why we gather in person here and at other ICSC meetings. This year,
the ICSC Western Conference & Deal Making will again include several Special Industry Groups (SIGs) that
will focus on hot-button topics in the industry such as finance and retailers. This year, a big step forward is
that ICSC has initiated a new free registration and booth area in the leasing hall for Retailers. We believe that
this addition to the convention will greatly enhance your deal making ability. With development kicking back
into gear, we'll have a general session, “How Do You Make Money in Retail Real Estate … And Keep It!” and
numerous networking opportunities at various social functions, and of course, the chance to meet with key
industry leaders and make some deals! I would like to thank our Conference Co-Chairs, Tim Jackson and
Joan Frei – and all of the dozens of volunteers who have worked to make this conference a hit. So get ready
to rock, and take advantage of the new opportunities at this must-attend event in San Diego.

ANNOUNCING ICSC’s NEW RETAILER PROGRAM
In an effort to increase retailer participation at this meeting, as well as a few other Deal Making
Conferences, the ICSC Executive Committee, with input from the ICSC Retailer Advisory Committee, has
decided to waive the registration fee for ICSC Retailer Members in exchange for their active participation.
Retailer Members will be required to register in advance to receive complimentary registration
(no complimentary on-site registration). Additionally, both Retailer Members and Non-Members are
