24 . One of the things that the Frierdiker Rebbe did was to approach all types of Yidden , each on their own level . When you strengthen everything in honor of Yud Shevat , that is how it should be - that all Yidden should be affected somewhat .
ON THE SHABBOS BEFORE THE YAHRZEIT :
25 . The Minhogim of the Yahrzeit such as learning Torah and giving Tzedaka etc . can be completed in the week following Yud Shevat also . But the Minhag of having an Aliya to the Torah cannot be pushed off , and should be on the Shabbos before the Yahrzeit .
26 . It needs a lot of thought if you can be “ Yotzeh ” by having an Aliya on Monday or Thursday ( before Yud Shevat ), since it is a different Parsha . Although you can have an Aliya at Mincha on Shabbos ( which is next week ' s Parsha ), but it is still part of the same Shabbos .
ON THE YAHRZEIT
27 . You should learn the Frierdiker Rebbe ' s Torah on Yud Shevat - especially the Maamor Bosi Legani , and especially the correct Perek for this year . ( The Maamor Bosi Legani 5710 has 20 Perokim ; one perek goes for each year , and every 20 years it starts again from the beginning .) you
