A proposito dell'utilizzo dei social network, i giovani dell'asociazione lettone Rujenas scrivono:
"We interviewed 100 Rujienas young people about social Networks.
In interviews with young people mostly all use the same social networks. Half of the interviewed used draugiem.lv.
Latvia for a long time is distinguished by the fact that the a relatively small country people have their own social site - draugiem.lv, while the rest of the world uses a common social portal, namely, Facebook.com. Less than half used twitter.com and facebook.com. They also use ask.fm but not so much as other Networks. Less than other sites Rūjienas youths also use delfi.lv and apollo.lv , where they can find news what happens in Latvia and in the world. Rūjienas youths mostly use those social networks where they can communicate with friends, share articles and pictures.
