RACISM AND ATTACKS.

In the early 1970’s skinhead culture seemingly died off, but then in the late 1970’s it subsequently had a revival in a big way. This was due to the introduction of punk rock. In this revival stage of skinhead culture portions of the skinhead youths became affiliated with far right movements such as ‘National Front’ or the more popular ‘British Movement’.

After this there was the racism and the fascism that came abruptly, and the attempted disruption of the anti-fascist marches or anti-racist festivals. It was a “different Britain” back then: harder, more tribally and politically polarised. This culture was later influenced by things like football hooliganism and thus became more associated with violence and racism.
