NEW
Snow Leopard Ward
Thanks to the generosity of people like you, children who need
help breathing to stay alive are benefiting from a new ward which
has been specially designed with their needs in mind. Snow
Leopard, Evelina London’s long-term ventilation unit, has been
partly funded by £1 million from thousands of Evelina London
supporters like you.
Snow Leopard is a smaller, more homely environment with play
and therapy rooms. The ward has specialist staff and carers who
can help train parents to use the breathing equipment safely so they
can eventually go home.
Lucy, a mother of a patient, said: ‘There is more personal space
here compared to the other ward Noah was on before, so we
can have private family moments when we need to.
At Snow Leopard there is a real feeling of home.’
You can help support great facilities like Snow
Leopard and get your hands on a Snowy the
Snow Leopard if you donate more than £50!
