IJP design is of course the fashion baby of Ian James
Poulter. Established in 2007 after he threw off the
shackles of paid for sponsors and set out to create a
brand that encompassed the ideals of what he thought
the modern game needed.
The styles in each line echo Poulters’ persona, a colourful
and smart design ethos that’s not afraid to get up in
people’s faces.
The men’s line has had great success since its inception,
and although Ian wasn’t wearing his own attire during
recent Ryder Cups, his on course performances have put
himself and the design brand in the spotlight. The growth
in the brand has now taken IJP Design from a men’s only
collection on to lines created for boys and women, and is
now sported on the Ladies Tours by the likes of Hannah
Burke.
The line has the perfect balance between performance
golf clothing, function and femininity. The collection has
been designed so every piece works together, creating
numerous outfit combinations, meaning that with just a few
pieces from the collection every lady can create the perfect
golfing ensemble. IJP offer everything from golf shirts to
golf jumpers through to skorts and golfing accessories.
