What do you do now?
Many golfers, after they have hit their
shot spend the next few minutes as
they are walking to their ball trying to
work out:
• What they did?
• W
hat they should have done
differently
• Remembering the last time they
did it?
• What might happen next?
• Anything else……..?
These questions follow a poor result,
if the shot is a good one:
• How did I do that?
• That was lucky
• Breathe a sigh of relief
• I hope that continues
• Expectation grows
Any combination of the above will not
help you with the next shot you are
about to play and at Mind Fit™ we
would call it ‘Behavioural Waste®’,
something you do that is wasting
energy, time and will influence your
attitude and ability to perform moving
forwards.
Your aim as you play is to reduce/
eliminate those behaviours and not
allow those attitudes that interfere
with how you play. On the upside
we want to help you to grow the
attitudes and behaviours that help
you perform at your best and once
you understand what they are you
can ‘tap into’ them whenever you like.
So, how do you do it?
