THE WEEKENDER
welcoming club in the South East of Wales,
Cottrell Park Golf Resort is one of the most popular
golf facilities in the region. The club boasts two
magnificent golf courses that are set in historic parkland
with sensational views across the Vale of Glamorgan, both
layouts complement the excellent on site facilities.
Those facilities are the two championship designed tracks,
the Mackintosh and the Button Gwinnett, as well as an allweather driving range, two state-of-the-art golf simulators,
two putting greens and on-course practice area.
We had the pleasure of playing The
Button Gwinnett Course, a beautifully
constructed American style layout
with 13 lakes spread over the 18
holes. This course provides 5,799
yards off the yellow tees or 6,145
yards off the white tees, not the
longest you’ll play but a good test
for all levels of golfer. The technical
challenge coupled with gently rolling
parkland and stately trees combine to
create a special charm that will leave
a lasting impression on most golfers.
Cottrell Park is another golfing venue
