ANNA @THEOPEN
ell what a 144th Open
Championship that
proved to be! I was
racing around the Old Course all
week reporting with @TheOpen Live
for the R&A and so had the privilege

and a lot of the best players in the
world. Here are just a few of the
best moments and memories from
the week.

last day round of 66, one under in
the 4 hole play-off proved enough,
Zach Johnson is a family man through
and through and after his gracious
winners speech he hot footed it back
to the US to take in the enormity of
his achievement. Spare a thought
for his opponents in the play off.
Marc Leishman, whose wife Audrey
is making a great recovery from a
horror illness earlier this year, shot
the lowest final 36 hole total in the
majors with his 64 and 66- but to no
avail. And Louis Oosthuizen, having
won at St Andrews in 2010, was
again a runner up as he was in the US
Open this year, his second major can’t
be far away?

We can’t not mention Jordan Spieth, who as everyone knows was going for
his 3rd Maj
