University Highlights

• S ecured support of more than $95,000 for LIFE U Athletics.
• S ecured individual and foundation support of more than $95,000
for the Chillon Project.
• S ecured support of nearly $300,000 from our President’s
Circle members.
• S ecured one new endowed scholarship from Dr. Tony DeRamus.
• S ecured private support of nearly $60,000 for disbursable and
endowed scholarships.
• T
he annual Scramble for LIFE Golf Tournament raised nearly
$20,000 in support of student scholarships; this is in addition to the
figure reported above.
• F
inished the year with revenues of $2.2 million less than budgeted
and expenses $2.4 million less than budgeted, producing a net
positive financial performance against budget.
• T
hirteenth consecutive year that financial performance was better
than budgeted.
• B
roke ground on the New Commons, a 362 student, 99,000
square-foot campus housing and dining facility that ultimately
opened September 2018.
• N
ine DCs with direct Life University connections were
recognized as part of DrAxe.com’s Top 25 Chiropractors of
2017, compiled through a set of criteria to determine which doctors
were having the biggest global impact in both the chiropractic
industry and healthcare overall.
• The USA Bobsled & Skeleton began a partnership with the
NeuroLIFE Institute Applied Clinical Neuroscience Clinic.
• Life University’s Master’s in Positive Psychology was ranked in
the top 20 of the most affordable online Master’s in Psychology
degree programs from a private university in the recent by The Best
Master’s Degrees.
• Atlanta Magazine recognized 77 University alumni and/or faculty
members in its list of 2018 Top Chiropractors in the Atlanta and
metro areas.
• In preparation for the Tokyo 2020 and Beijing 2022 Olympics,
Team China joined with the University and its LIFE Sport Science
Institute to establish a Chiropractic Performance Center in
Beijing.
• In a ranking by Best College Reviews, the University’s Master of
Science in Positive Psychology online degree program ranked
fifth best for 2018 out of all online psychology master’s degree
programs in the country.
• The University’s NeuroLIFE Institute began offering a 100-hour
LIFE Certificate in Applied Clinical Neuroscience.
• The University’s Center for Compassion, Integrity and Secular
Ethics (CCISE) entered into a dynamic partnership with Charter for
Compassion to offer its Compassionate Integrity Training (CIT)
to more than a dozen cities and sectors within its organization.
• L
aunched three new online offerings: Associate of Science in
Health and Wellness, Bachelor of Science in Biology and the Pre-D.C.
Pathway toward a Doctor of Chiropractic. • At the 2017 Fall CElebration, hosted more than 1,670 alumni
and friends on campus for continuing education, reunion events
and parties.
• I n response to damage inflicted by Hurricane Maria, established
the LIFE Disaster Relief Fund to raise money for chiropractors
who were living in the devastated areas of Puerto Rico and the U.S.
Virgin Islands. • For the second year in a row, the University was one of two host
sites for the USA Rugby Men’s D1A National Semi-Finals.
• I n a ranking list compiled by Best Value Schools, Life University’s
Master of Science in Positive Psychology online degree
program ranked ninth best out of all online psychology
master’s degree programs in the country.

• Began a three-year sponsorship of the Georgia Swarm, a box
lacrosse team in the National Lacrosse League.
