North Carolinian and Life University Alumna
Dr. Christina Gray Recognized for Service
in Hurricane-Stricken Community
Dr. Christina Gray, a Life University alumna and Wilmington,
North Carolina native has been hard at work in the weeks
following the tragic devastation from the aftermath of Hurricane
Florence in her community. Florence made landfall in the
Carolinas on September 14, and many neighborhoods from
multiple counties are still facing harsh conditions months later,
and many residents lost everything.” One positive that tragedies
like this do reveal is the generosity of humankind, with many
volunteering their time, talent and treasure to aid those in their
time of need. Dr. Gray is one such example of this generosity,
as she has offered her chiropractic services to members of the
Wilmington community, as well as to first responders in the area,
such as the Cajun Navy, lineworkers and more.
“It has been so humbling and life changing,” remarks Dr. Gray on
her experiences since the devastating hurricane. “It is so hard to
believe this is all right in our back yard.”
For her abundant service in the wake of such a disaster, Gray is
being recognized by the LIFEforce organization at Life University.
LIFEforce is a group of chiropractors whose mission is to not stop
until everyone on the planet has access to chiropractic care and a
chiropractic education if they so choose.
“Dr. Gray is a valued member of LIFEforce who, in addition to
serving her community with excellent chiropractic care, also
serves as an outstanding mentor to our Student LIFEforce,”
explains Magi Rodgers, Director of LIFEforce & Enrollment
Strategic Initiatives. "With her recent endeavors after Hurricane
Florence in Wilmington, there is no doubt that she deserves this
recognition from our LIFEforce tribe.”
