THE NETHERLANDS
"I am so lucky to have been placed with such an
awesome family, and to have had such an amazing
experience all thanks to the team at Your Education!"
- Sinead from Christchurch went to The Netherlands .
Known for its tulips, windmills, canals and bicycles,
the Netherlands is a truly unique exchange
destination.
While the native language is Dutch, the level of English is high. Host families tend to
be small and hard-working. Your host family will be keen to share many Dutch
traditions with you from the famous Christmas festival of Sinterklaas to delicious
sweet treats like poffertjes and stroopwafels.

SCANDINAVIA
"It truly doesn’t feel like I was on an exchange, as
soon as arrived I was welcomed straight into my
host family and was treated like one of their own.
Your Education, I can not thank you enough for
everything you did in prepping me for my
exchange. It was one of the most amazing
experiences I have had and something I will never
forget!!! Tack så mycket."
- Isabella from Timaru went to Sweden.
From the Northern lights, lakes, forests and
mountains of breath-taking beauty to buzzing,
modern cities, Scandinavia offers unique contrasts.
Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway are all modern societies with roots in
ancient natural and cultural heritage. Regardless of the season, there is a wealth of
things to do. Some of the activities may include skiing, ice fishing, festivals, or just
relaxing with your family at their lake house. With the beauty of these countries you
won’t be short of things to do or discover.
