CANADA
PROGRAMMES
We have several different programme options available in Canada allowing you the
flexibility to choose your duration, departure and even your region and school if you
have specific requirements.
TRADITIONAL PROGRAMME
Our traditional Canada programme has placements throughout Canada. Wherever
you are placed you will enjoy an amazing variety of outdoor activities and sports,
warm, welcoming locals and true school spirit.
The semester programmes are available starting in either February or August.
Academic year programmes are only available to start in August.
You will stay with a paid host family and attend a public school.
REGION GUARANTEE PROGRAMMES
Our two region choice options allow you to select the province where you will be
placed and your high school. This gives you more control over your exchange and
the chance to guarantee you will be placed in a specific region.

BRITISH COLUMBIA
If you have your heart set on trying out one of Canada’s world famous ski resorts or
want to be able to explore the beautiful and vibrant city of Vancouver then an
exchange to British Columbia is just the ticket.
If you’re lucky you may get to experience winter in Canada and even a white
Christmas with your host family. Whether you end up ice skating in Robson Square,
strolling through the German-style Christmas markets in downtown Vancouver or
tucked up by the fire at home, you will get to share this special occasion with your
new host family and friends.
Two month, semester and academic year programmes are available with departures
in December, February and August (academic year programme departs in August
only). You will be able to select from a list of high quality public schools within this
region and you will stay with a paid host family.
ONTARIO
Ontario is a province of diversity. In the south the Great Lakes bordering the United
States provide a stunning backdrop for a plethora of water sports and these lakes
contain a fifth of the planet’s fresh water. The cities of Toronto and Ottawa are jam-
packed with vibrant multi-cultural neighbourhoods, eateries and cultural attractions.
Semester and academic year programmes are available with departures in February
and August (academic year programme departs in August only). You will be able to
select from a list of high quality public schools within this region and you will stay with
a paid host family.
