sometimes even judged by these
parameters. It is unfortunate but then
that’s the way today. I and you cannot
change it in one day or even one year. Like
evolution, social transformation takes
time. More than information and
awareness, it needs experiential
knowledge. Books and banners cannot
solve all the puzzles of life. Your actions
can. Do you want to step up and
transform yourself? If yes, then there must
be a strong commitment, a strong faith in
yourself, and a firm step leading to more.
What is that action? Well, in my opinion,
you can even start with a book. There
are so many out there that can sow the
seed of changing your life for the good.
In my case, it was Robin Sharma’s “The
Monk Who Sold His Ferrari”. The book
inspired me to practice Yoga, to
meditate and go deep within myself, to
explore my inner space until I found my
nirvana, or my Shangri La. As His
Holiness Dalai Lama puts it, your

heaven, your Jannat, and your Swarga
lies inside you. You have to discover
your Shambhala or Shangri La, not
outside but in the inner world. That’s
what the sages and seers of the past
did. I am trying too. Wish me good luck!
But please, and please, wish yourself
some luck as well. Dear friends, your
luck is in your hands. I am not telling it
to you as a preacher or a philosopher. I
am telling it to you as a soul. From one
soul to another. In the business world,
they call it networking. In the social
world, they call it sharing. And that
reminds me of my friend’s whatsapp
profile which says, “Sharing is Caring”.
But as a soul, I’d prefer to add – “Sharing
is loving”. In the world of bliss, you share
out of love. Love is purely an expression
while living the experience of bliss. And
we all can do that. Every single human
being on this planet can do that.
Whoever made this world has been very
kind to all of us. Our body, our solar
system, our planet – everything within
us and around us is a miracle. We need
to take some time out and observe it. At
least just once in our life. Give it a day.
Give it a week. Trust me; your life will
change if you witness the miracle.
