Soma started making them for certain
Pedandas (Balinese Hindu high priests) to
wear at their ceremonies, and
immediately other Pedandas recognised
the energy, power and protection these
sacred beads provided. So as part of her
mission, she custom makes ceremonial
malas (rudraksha necklace) for any
Pedanda or Mangku (Hindu Priest) who is
interested in them as a gift.
She also generously offers any Balinese a
50% discount to make it more affordable
for them to wear these sacred beads
which are at the very heart of the Hindu
religion.

being sold everywhere in Bali now,
bringing back a tradition that was lost for

the path of Shiva, going to Arunachala,
Gangotri (source of the Ganga) and also
to Mount Kailash in Tibet, the most holy
place in the world for Hindus and
Buddhists, Jains and Bon people.
Mt. Kailash is the Holy abode of Lord
Shiva and Parvati Ma, where they live,
and Arunachala is the actual physical
embodiment of Shiva himself from the
Puranas (Vedic texts).
We are now in the 21st century and with
the state of the world, as Papaji said, we
feel everyone should be wearing them.
He stated that it is not the time anymore

beads, but it is time to give access to
everyone on this planet regardless of
cast, sex, religion, eating habits…
We found very interesting this circle of
reintroducing ancestral traditions to the
Mother Land of India and Ba
