The moment one starts
knowing internal power,
ego tells to be ambitious,
to be greedy, to achieve,
thus how people start
chasing spirituality.
Q. While practicing witnessing, I am
very sleepy and lazy. How to come out
of this laziness?
Initially witnessing, laziness and feeling
sleepy is normal. As mental fatigue
releases, our whole attention comes to
body. Body starts asking for rest. So slow
down and take a pause.
We collect information by reading book,
by google search and prepare our mind
to have similar kind of experience. Mind
is very tricky so the focus should be on
experience. In order to do so, we should
unlearn and then learn. Spirituality says,
naked yourself, know your real self,
discover self, unmask yourself, be
authentic to self. So the process is
evolutionary and can be expedited by
taking the charge of your own life.
Process of grounding happens gradually
and self actualisation can put a full stop to
one’s reaction.
Q. After practicing mindfulness my
relations are souring and beyond
repair. Kindly explain.
Till the time we are on victim mode we
won’t be able to repair any relationship
or situation and to repair anything like
relationships, situation, our intent plays a
very important role. Our intent tells that
we are in awareness and acceptance,
and want to come out of suffering.
Once the fatigue is over, body will start
experiencing the energy again. At the
same time, we need to be alert so that
laziness can not overpower.
Q. I am scared to practice as my
physical health starts declining and
feeling little depressed too.
When one starts spiritual journey /
inward journey, everything gets surfaced,
whatever is suppressed / repressed, like,
gloomy/depressing state, loose motion,
vomiting sensation, body pain, heavy
head, cold & cough, feverish feeling,
frequent urination.
We call it channel purification means
whatever toxic we accumulate in our
body and mind, that starts seeking
release through any one of this way.
So we need to be well prepared and
should hydrate our body well.
Without any fear we should allow this to
happen in order to release the toxic.
Q. When one starts spiritual journey,
they experience depression and
loneliness. How to overcome?
Spiritual journey means discovering self
or we can say inward journey. Mostly
people are not used to this inner journey,
they connect life with external world
only. By addressing inner journey, all of a
sudden we feel a disconnect with the
external world, to which we are not
used to, that creates a void. Once we
connect to our inner self, peace starts
radiating. This is a transition phase till we
find a balance between internal and
external world.
So it is normal to witness but it is always
better to start under guidance.
Q. People say they are trying hard to
be spiritual. What are the barriers
while moving on this path?
When we move on this path, ego is the
biggest barrier. The moment one starts
knowing internal power, ego tells to be
ambitious, to be greedy, to achieve, thus
people start chasing spirituality.
In order to do so, they try very hard with
the practice and that creates anxiety and
stress. Practice is a piece of music. If one
slacks the strings, music will be
melodious and if one tauts the string too
much, the strings can be broken. So
practice should be effortless with all
devotion, dedication and commitment to
self.
