. I can ’ t practice conscious breathing , meditation or any techniques , despite the fact that I will be benefitted . How to deal ?
Urban lifestyle makes our mind too active . Our needs , desires , discontentment are increasing , that is creating a lot of stress resulting to a restless mind . So our restless mind is not allowing to practice .
To break this pattern , initially , we need some willpower to get into discipline . Everyday fixup a time to sit at least for 10 minutes to start with just observation of breathing . Do it for 21 days . As per our ancient scripture , any sanskara to set in
DNA , needs 21 to 42 days . Gradually one can increase the time and it will be the way of living ( adaptation ).
Q . I am practicing but unable to experience anything ?
When one starts with any kind of spiritual practice , it is very normal to feel so . People live in mind , so practice happens from mind only which is very mechanical and can not bring changes .
When one starts practicing with all awareness and with an intent to come out of misery , that kind of practice brings harmony and peace where health is a by product .
Q . During my meditation / conscious breathing / other techniques , I ’ m having a beautiful experience but am unable to stop myself from reacting ?
When one starts spiritual practices they start faking their experiences initially . They start putting another kind of mask , which is afterall a mask only to which they are conditioned for .
