What is the best way to heal the fragile body and the mind in the context of modern day life according to your experiences? I think the holistic integrative approach to balance your body using Yoga or any other healing practice with herbal teas, mother tinctures and aromatherapy as complements, also acupuncture, acupressure and massage, and a routine of a daily work out that include a bit of cardio, sunlight and a moment of relaxation and meditation. It is believed that dance is a vehicle to release stress. Can dance be done in a meditative state? Does Yoga dance involve just the asanas and the mudras or the other aspects of Yoga as well? Yogadance Therapy works on the systematic application of yoga in dance, not only on the practical level but also on its foundations and philosophical understanding through movement, for example when we do the tree pose Vriksasana, I speak about the roots as a connection to the mother earth, about weight, feet, but also about the plants as teachers and their evolution, to exist as the most generous and compassionate being on earth.
