the law. Having understood nature to a fair extent through science and technology, man has continuously made attempts to build a good future. But most of his findings, theories and plans regarding a safer future, a healthier planet, a better lifestyle, have been limited to paper. Man’s desires, his pleasures and luxuries, his slavery to the mind and the senses has led to actions and deeds that have caused heavy imbalance in the planet’s ecological system. For every man or woman, life is a precious gift that they don’t want to lose at any cost. They also understand that balance in the planet (their home) is being disturbed out of their desires. But enslavement to our desires leaves us with little scope to sustain the balance. After all, when we can’t even balance our own life, how can we even imagine balancing the life of others? Therefore, it is the need of the hour to balance our life. Yoga is widely acknowledged as a tool for relaxation, as a practice that is even being recommended by doctors today to tackle stress and lifestyle disorders. Though Yoga has become a global practice today, its true meaning and goal has somewhere got lost in the maze of materialism. Here are some tips for the seekers and practitioners to keep moving and healing on the path: [ Seeking is the key. Having questions are great. Being judgemental is not. Learn not to judge. Watch those videos and read those books that can transform your life. Don’t hesitate to join a retreat or attend a festival if you want to learn. [ Being part of the community will help you a lot. The concept of Sangha propagated by Gautama the Buddha is very ancient. You can share your experiences and seek help to understand them better. [ Meditate, chant and dance if you want. Flow with the inner dynamism. Never hesitate to express your love or being yourself. Remember, there are mantras out the re that can clear all the clutter of your mind. There are asanas and mudras out there that can twist out all the blockages in your pranic and physical sheath. Keep practicing, keep walking on the path and you will find your elixir.
