DIET & HEALTH Sweet Almond Walnut Milk Both almonds and walnuts are packed with vitamins, minerals and proteins. They also provide heart-healthy fats. Almond and walnut milk sweetened with dates makes a nutritious as well as delicious drink. Put both the ingredients along with 2 cups of water in a blender. Blend on high speed for a few minutes, until they form a smooth paste. 1/2 cup almonds, soaked and rinsed 1/2 cup walnuts, soaked and rinsed 10 dates, washed, pitted and soaked 4 cups filtered water Strain using a nut milk bag. If you already have unsweetened almond milk, simply add the dates or dates paste, blend it and strain. Any plain plant-based milk made with two or more nuts can be sweetened in a similar way.
