condition or disability that has not been set forth in such Certificate or which would make participation in the Program inadvisable or unreasonably risky . I will immediately inform YFU USA of any change in my child ’ s health that might alter this representation . If YFU USA receives new information , I recognize YFU USA may use this information to reconsider acceptance or continuation of my child in the Program .
2 . I agree to be responsible for , and pay , all bills for any medical , optical , dental , pharmaceutical or similar services required by my child while abroad and not covered or paid by the company issuing the medical and hospital ( or accident and health ) insurance . If YFU USA pays any such bills , whether due to emergency , as a matter of convenience , or otherwise , I agree to repay such amount to YFU USA immediately upon demand .
3 . I shall be responsible for and pay all legally enforceable debts incurred by my child while abroad . If YFU USA discharges any such debt , whether due to emergency , as a matter of convenience , or otherwise , I agree to pay those fees and expenses upon demand .
4 . I agree to and do hereby authorize YFU USA , its personnel , representatives , international partners , and the adult members of the host family , to act for me on behalf of my child in any emergency , accident , or illness while my child is on Program .
5 . I agree to release and discharge YFU USA , its employees and volunteers , and the foregoing individuals from any liability , claims , or demands that may be asserted in connection with :

Unless my child is a scholarship recipient and the scholarship expressly provides otherwise , I acknowledge that I will provide international medical and hospital insurance coverage that at minimum will cover emergency care and an emergency flight home ( emergency repatriation ) in the event of serious illness , accident , or death for the student , for the entirety of the Program under a policy or policies currently in force or to be purchased prior to commencement of the Program .
a . Any emergency , accident , illness , death , or other consequences or event arising from the actions or participation of my child in the Program , or
b . Any cause , event , or occurrence beyond the control of YFU USA , including but not limited to natural disasters , terrorism , war , civil disturbances , accidents , and negligence of parties not subject to the control of YFU USA .
PROGRAM DISMISSAL
I agree that YFU USA has the right to dismiss my child from the Program for behavior that YFU USA , in its sole discretion , considers detrimental to my child or to the Program .
I agree that if I violate any provision of this Agreement , or if my child , during his or her stay abroad , engages in any unauthorized travel , is absent without YFU USA authorization from the host school or the place of residence designated for my child by YFU USA , or violates any provision of this agreement , YFU USA may , in its sole discretion , determine that my son or daughter has voluntarily withdrawn from the Program .
I have read and reviewed the Parent-Student Agreement and accept the terms described therein . I hereby certify that the information contained in this application is truthful and understand that acceptance to the Program is not final until all of the application requirements have been fulfilled .

C . STUDENT AGREEMENT
I have read the Parent-Student Agreement and discussed it with my parent ( s ). I acknowledge that the information I have provided in my admissions materials is complete and truthful to the best of my knowledge . I agree with the purpose of the Program and fully accept all terms and conditions of this Agreement , and all other rules , regulations , and conditions set forth by YFU USA concerning the Program . In particular , I will make every effort to become an integral part of my host family , school , and community ; will travel only in accordance with YFU policies , and will attend the school designated for me on a regular basis and complete all work to the best of my ability .
