NextGen Climate acts politically to prevent
climate disaster and promote prosperity
for all Americans.

The Young Elected Officials Network and NextGen
Climate are committed to ensuring a sustainable
planet—and Policy Academy.

Founded by businessperson and
philanthropist Tom Steyer in 2013, NextGen
Climate is a San Francisco-based environmental
advocacy organization. Working at every level, we
are committed to supporting candidates, elected
officials, and policymakers across the country who
will take bold action on climate change.

This program book was printed on 100 percent postconsumer recycled paper at a facility powered wholly by wind
energy. Compared to printing on paper from virgin forests, our
recycled program books collectively save 2,462 gallons of water
from being used, five trees from being cut down, one pound of
pollutants from entering waterways, 165 pounds of solid waste
from being created, two million BTUs of energy from being
consumed, and 454 pounds of net greenhouse gases from being
emitted into the atmosphere.
