Dave Woodward
County Commissioner

Dave Woodward was first elected to the Oakland County Board of
Commissioners in November 2004 and started his current term in
January 2015. He serves on several committees, including the Finance
Committee, where he is the minority vice chairperson, and the General
Government Committee, and is a former member of the Planning &
Building Committee. He is the chairperson of the Democratic Caucus.
Woodward currently serves as a board trustee to the Northwood Credit Union, is the president of
Oakland Health Plan Inc., is an associate trustee for the South Oakland Boys and Girls Club, and is a
member of the Royal Oak Chamber of Commerce. Woodward was born and raised in the district he
