YEO Bios Emma Pinter City Councillor Westminster, Colorado Emma Pinter was elected to Westminster City Council in November 2013. Pinter is currently Head Mom for Colorado Moms Know Best, a network of parents committed to clean air and healthy kids. She also serves as the board chair of the Adams County Youth Initiative, a member of the advisory council of Mile High Connects, a mock trial committee member of the Colorado Bar Association, and a member of the Westminster Chamber of Commerce. She is currently the Westminster City Council liaison to the Inclusivity Task Force; the Colorado Municipal League, Policy Committee; and the Special Permit and License Board. Previously, she served on the Westminster Board of Building Code Appeals and as the president of Westminster MOMS Club. She is a graduate of the Westminster Citizen Fire Academy. Alex Pratt School Committee Member Littleton, Massachusetts Andrés Quintero Governing Board Member San Jose, California Andrés Quintero is a lifelong resident of East San Jose, attending various east side schools and graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. After graduating from Evergreen Valley College, Quintero transferred to San Jose State University, where he earned a B.A. in political science and an M.P.A. Quintero began his career in public policy working for then San Jose Councilmember Forrest Williams and for the Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors. Quintero served as district director for the California State Assembly, teaches Political Science, and serves as a representative on the executive board of AFT Local 6157. He also serves as chair of the San Jose International Airport Commission and as treasurer of Latino Leadership Alliance. He is a member of the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District (ARUSD), Governing Board. Quintero resides in East San Jose with his wife and two children. Clean Energy & Environmental Justice Policy Academy | 2016 Alex Pratt was elected to the Littleton School Committee in May 2013. He is a student at Northeastern University and a teaching assistant at the Harvard University Extension School. Committee Member Pratt serves as the co-chair of the pursuit of excellence task force and as the school committee representative to the permanent municipal building committee. He has testified before the legislature’s joint committee on education, on bills impacting students’ well-being and performance, and he has published articles on education policy in the Littleton Independent, the Lowell Sun, and the Boston Globe. While in high school, Pratt advised the state Department of Elementary and Secondary Education on issues relating to Littleton-area public schools. He is currently studying sociology and economics at Northeastern University in Boston. @alexdpratt 45
