Scott Kawasaki
State Representative
Fairbanks, Alaska
State Representative Scott Kawasaki is currently serving his third term as
a member of the Alaska State House. He was first elected in 2006 as the
youngest member of the legislature and is still the youngest member of
his political party. He serves on the Resources and Education Committees
and the Special Committee on Fisheries. Previously, Kawasaki served
for six years on the Fairbanks City Council as its youngest-ever member.
He earned a B.S. in biomedicine at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks. In
college, he chartered the first national collegiate fraternity in Alaska, Sigma Phi Epsilon, and was
involved in leadership and internship programs statewide.

Jeffery Kilpatrick
Mayor
Drew, Mississippi
Jeffery Demond Kilpatrick rose through the ranks as a Correctional
Lieutenant at Mississippi State Penitentiary, where he has been employed
for the last 22 years. In June 2005, he was elected as mayor for the City of
Drew and was re-elected a second term in June 2009 and a third term in
2013. Kilpatrick earned a B.S. in health physical education and recreation
and an M.S. in criminal justice from Mississippi Valley State University. He
is also a 2007 graduate of the Mississippi Police Academy.
