COALITION BUILDING FOR A CLEAN ENERGY FUTURE
CROSS-SECTOR PARTNERSHIPS

The climate movement is moving beyond the old, narrow bounds of the
environmental movement, bringing together a powerful alliance of advocates
from a wide range of sectors to become more broad and intersectional. This
session will look at creating strategic partnerships at the grassroots and
grasstops; across the aisle; with labor, faith, consumers, and business—and also
the importance of community input and ownership in development decisions.
