Interns Leaving
simone grund stephanie bien
Simone has held the position as Marketing Manager from
July 2018 to January 2019. During her time at SACC-
Philadelphia, some of her responsibilities have included
planning, executing and evaluating events, managing the
Chamber’s social media channels, maintaining the website
and writing the monthly newsletter. Stephanie has held the position as the Financial Manager
since the end of August. Some of her work duties have
been planning, executing and evaluating events, as well
as accounting and creating content for our social media
channels. Her time at the Chamber has been dynamic,
and she has had the opportunity to put her theoretical
knowledge into practice with great results.
Marketing Manager
The internship has deepened her oral and written
communication skills, and given her an opportunity to
build a strong portfolio that will benefit her future career.
Simone has enjoyed her time in Philadelphia in general,
and the NHL hockey in particular. During her free time,
she’s traveled around the country to watch hockey and has
visited cities such as New York, Washington D.C., Buffalo
and Las Vegas. She will miss America greatly, but hope to
be back soon.

Financial Manager
Before coming to Philadelphia, Stephanie had very limited
knowledge about the region. Therefore, besides working
hard at the Chamber, she has taken the opportunity to
discover as much of it as possible—mostly by bike. She
also visited New York City and Washington, D.C., and hope
that she can come back to the U.S. in the near future to see
even more places.
