cocktail hour with the swedish
ambassador
On August 16th, we invited our members to a Cocktail
Hour with the Swedish Ambassador to the U.S., Karin
Olofsdotter. Essity, one of SACC-Philadelphia’s corporate
members, kindly offered to host us at their office, and we
had a stunning view of Philadelphia from the 26th floor of
the Cira Centre!
The Ambassador told us about her job and the Swedish
Embassy’s efforts to strengthen the relationship between
Sweden and America. Sweden, although being a small
country, is actually the 15th largest investor in the U.S.,
and the Ambassador talked about the importance of
maintaining and growing that relationship.

It was a lovely afternoon where our members were
given the opportunity to network and mingle with the
Ambassador, and everyone left the event in high spirits.
SACC-Philadelphia wants to extend our sincere gratitude
