Interns
Interns leaving
Gabriella Johnson, Financial Manager
Gabriella has held the position as the Financial Manager since the beginning of
July. Budgeting events, accounting, preparing board meetings and planning
events have been some of her work duties during the internship.
Gabriella holds a B.Sc. degree in Real Estate and Finance and during this
internship she has been able to apply her theoretical knowledge and has also
gained a lot of new knowledge regarding the work in a non- profit organization.
Thanks to the close work with Elisabeth, she has also developed her knowledge
about the marketing efforts of a company. Furthermore, the internship has
given her invaluable experience of working with an international business in
the U.S.
Before this internship, Gabriella had been in the U.S. several times but had no
connection to Philadelphia. The city has now become one of her favorites in
the States, thanks to all the amazing restaurants and the fact that Philadelphia
is a small big city. With many unforgettable memories and a broader network,
she now moves back to Sweden and hopes she will be back in the U.S. very
soon.
Elisabeth Avrotin, Marketing Manager
Elisabeth has held the position as the Marketing Manager from the beginning
of July 2017 until the beginning of January 2018. Her time at the Chamber has
been very exciting and she has gained insightful knowledge of the American
business culture and how to facilitate trade between Sweden and the U.S.
Working at SACC Philadelphia has also given Elisabeth great networking
opportunities, which she hopes to use in the near future.
Philadelphia is a great city and Elisabeth has enjoyed her time here a lot.
Together with Gabriella, she has visited many restaurants, museums and other
interesting places in the city. Elisabeth is happy she got the chance to explore
Philadelphia and she will definitely be back soon. As for now, she is going home
to Stockholm to finish her M.Sc. in Marketing and continue working at the PR-
firm Prime & United Minds.
