Article What is your philosophy when it comes to training and a healthy lifestyle? My motto is a Swedish expression: Lagom is the best. Meaning that you should not over or under achieve what you are doing, find a balance in between. You need to find a balance in your life both when it comes to training but also when it comes to what you are eating. In my opinion a lot of Americans are either extremely healthy or the complete opposite. Whilst in Sweden, people seem to have found a better balance with eating real products and having a weekly work-out routine. I guess you can say that Swedes are doing stuff lagom. What advice would you give to a person who wants to make 2018 the year when the started working out on a regular basis? You need to get the segments of condition-training every day. Take the stairs instead of the elevator at work. Do not get too comfortable; create a routine of walking to work instead of taking the car or train even though it is cold outside. That walk will only be good for you! Also keep in mind that 20 minutes of workout is better than nothing. Doing a workout for 60 minutes is not necessarily better just because it is during a longer time. Also, set reasonable goals for 2018 and again try to not overachieve yourself in the beginning, that will only make you tired in the long run. Instead, create a routine for your work-out sessions. For me, I prefer working out in the morning and therefore that is the perfect morning routine for me. Last but not least remember - You will never regret a workout.
