The award seeks to recognize companies that have made a significant contribution to the exchange of trade and commerce between Scandinavia and the Philadelphia region, as well as important contributions toward corporate social responsibility and sustainable business practices. IKEA Conshohocken was recognized for its strong commitment to sustainable business practices and emphasis on renewability and recyclability. SACC-Philadelphia is thankful for having hard working and contributing interns from Sweden with our Chamber in 2014. These interns included Sophie Hallberg, Sandra Markovic, Nima Ghamari and Ylva Linden. I would also like to welcome our new interns Sofie Åberg, Charlotte Isberg and Isabella Gillström.
