In the small town of Älmhult in south Sweden, IKEA opened its first store in 1958. 55 years later, IKEA has
grown in to a multinational enterprise with operations in 43 countries, one of the being the United States.
Philadelphia happens to be the whereabouts of the first IKEA store in the country, inaugurated in 1985.
Conveniently located next to the corporate headquarters of IKEA USA is the Conshohocken store, one of two
IKEA stores in the Philadelphia region. Store manager since September 2013 is Camilly Meiby, not only a
